
Watchers of "The Voice" who likewise happen to love Nick Jonas have something to sing about today.
Priyanka Chopra's significant other has caught a gig as a mentor on the inevitable Season 18 of the truth singing challenge.
Jonas broke the news on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" during a scene set to air Tuesday.
"I am so amped up for this," he said. "You're essentially the principal individuals I've told, so thank you for being a piece of this uncommon minute for me."
The declaration came after DeGeneres demonstrated a few recordings from current mentors Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
"I will need to glance through the principles since this is my TV appear," Shelton kidded in his clasp. "I'm not by any means sure in case you're mature enough to be a mentor on 'The Voice,' yet I'm sure that you will get your butt kicked, pal."
Jonas flippantly offered his reaction to Shelton.
"Just honestly, Blake, I'm going to kick your a**," Jonas said.
Gwen Stefani stepped in as a mentor this season after unique mentor Adam Levine left the show.
Jonas tweeted a video Monday late evening communicating that he was so glad to join the NBC hit.
"I'm seeking after a Season 1 win for Team Nick and an opportunity to work with some astounding ability," he said.
He's not the first Jonas to be a piece of the establishment.
