Robert Downey Jr, the most unmistakable face from Disney juggernaut Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has reacted to producer Martin Scorsese's analysis of superhuman films.
The veteran producer unsettled plumes when he said in an ongoing meeting that he didn't consider "Wonder motion pictures" as "film" and discovers them lacking on the "passionate and mental encounters".
Downey, who depicted hero Iron Man in Marvel Studios' cash stamping MCU, tended to the veteran movie producer's comments during his appearance on The Howard Stern show.
"I'll come clean with you, I didn't expect (MCU) to move toward becoming what it moved toward becoming and it is this enormous, multi-headed Hydra now.
"I've generally had different interests, and as indicated by Scorsese, it's not film so I need to investigate that, you know?" the 54-year-old entertainer said.
Downey underlined that the Marvel motion pictures do play in theaters and are finding real success in the cinematic world.
"I mean it plays in theaters. I value his sentiment since I believe it resembles anything, we need the majority of the alternate points of view so we can go to the inside and proceed onward," Downey Jr. said.
At the point when Stern asked the entertainer whether he was felt "offended" by Scorsese's announcement, he stated, "I mean look, it'd resemble saying Howard Stern isn't radio. It looks bad to state it."
He proceeded to include, "Let's not forget about how these sort motion pictures — and I was glad to be a piece of the 'issue' if there is one — slandered the period, the fine art, of film.
